WILL AND CHRIS – are a dynamic duo of masterful, experienced jazz musicians who also love to play pop. With an expansive eclectic repertoire of spirit lifting songs, they’ve been featured at the Orillia Jazz Festival & Roots North Festival. Hearing them improvise on Brubeck’s “Take Five” all the way to the Doors’ “Riders on the Storm” brings smiles and sends chills down the spine. Chris plays saxophones and vocalizes in a unique way to tell the story of each song while Will provides a brilliant harmonic and rhythmic backdrop on keyboards.
CHRIS ROBINSON – has performed with Peter Appleyard, Bernie Senensky, Oliver Jones, the Canadian Jazz Messengers, and The Benny Goodman Alumni Orchestra. His recording with Oliver Jones was nominated for a Juno award for best jazz album. He is a confident, engaging singer with the story telling mastery befitting those classic songs he loves.
WILL DAVIS – a Queen’s University grad, Will studied with legendary jazz pianist Barry Harris. His gospel tinged piano style has been described: “Every note he plays is perfect!”
