Fire & Ice Bracebridge | January 26, 2019

Not only the most epic winter festival in Muskoka, this might steal the show for all of CANADA! Where else have you heard of a small town building a tubing hill on their main street? The tubing hill and loads of family entertainment make this a family memory the kids won’t soon forget, and a wintry event that can’t, nay, shan’t be missed!

SantaFest |

Santa Claus will be welcoming guests to his home inside Santa’s Village for the Annual SantaFest, the weekends of December 8/9, 15/16, and 22/23. Santa’s only back in town for a few days and he’d love to see you. The highlight of meeting the jolly man in red is only part of the festivities, also enjoy cookie decorating, games, face painting, Christmas crafts, and more!

North American Cup Original Pond Hockey Classic | February 8 – 10, 2019

One of our most popular family activities is a horse drawn sleigh or wagon ride through the stunning Muskoka back country. Back of Beyond Equine Centre has a great family package that can accommodate up to 14, and Twin Maples Farm offers wagon rides and carriage rides for up to 16 people at their farm.

Winter Carnivals

The whole family can skate until their heart’s content at this wonderful park-like skating trail located right in the heart of downtown Bracebridge. After your skate, take the family to one of the nearby shops for a round of hot chocolate. The Pasta Shoppe Bakery & Fine Foods is just steps away and is home to Muskoka’s famous Maple buttertarts and a great line-up of hot bevvies! If you’re looking to warm up from the cold, check out what is playing at the Norwood Theatre across the street from the park and catch a Christmas flick.

Light the Nights |

This is an experience the kids will always remember. North Ridge Ranch in Huntsville offers dog sledding excursions all winter long and there is enough room on the trails for the whole family.
