About
Muskoka Heritage Place – Museum, Pioneer Village and Train is located on 90 acres of natural, unspoiled Muskoka, just 1 km from downtown Huntsville and close to Algonquin Provincial Park. A working cross-roads community settled circa 1880 to 1910 is authentically recreated with costumed narrators and fun, creative hands-on things to do including candle-dipping, pioneer baking, one-room school house lessons and an open-air coach train ride. Included are First Nations’ encampment, beaver meadow pond, museum, pioneer dwellings, church, blacksmith shop, general store, inn, gardens and farm animals.
For your private event or wedding, Muskoka Heritage Place has many options to explore.
