Canadian Music Legends Blackie and the Rodeo Kings mark their 25th anniversary with a special tour in support of their new album King of this Town. Originally Colin Linden, Stephen Fearing and Tom Wilson came together to record what was suppose to be a one- off tribute album to the great Canadian songwriter Willie P. Bennett. At the time, all three members were deeply committed to burgeoning solo careers that they had no intentions of putting on hold, and had no plans to turn Blackie into an ongoing concern. Now twenty five years later, 9 albums , one Juno award and several Juno nominations under their belts, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings have organically evolved into one of the finest roots-oriented bands in North America. Added Bonus! Each ticket includes a digital download of their newest album King of this Town.

Who says you have to wait until May 2-4 to crack open Muskoka-time? On March 7, 2020 some of Ontario’s finest craft breweries are heading north for the first ever BEERHURST-at-DEERHURST, a new craft beer festival hosted by and at Deerhurst Resort. Of course, several of the breweries are also located in Muskoka and area, adding to the cottage country vibe of the event, which will be headlined by Dwayne Gretzky, Toronto’s popular live music collective.
“Craft beer and live music know no boundaries when it comes to seasons, “says Deerhurst Resort General Manager, Jesse Hamilton. “After putting together the Deerhurst Beer Bus package last fall where guests were shuttled to local breweries – which sold out in a heartbeat – we wanted to expand the fun with a full blown craft beer festival and bring all the breweries together here in one place.”
Come join us at the McArthur House Cafe at the Muskoka Lakes farm & winery for a delicious Cranberry Dinner.
Enjoy the 3 course dinner and one glass of wine, only $60 per person. There are two seating times 5:00pm -7:00pm or 7:30-9:30pm.
