For thousands of years, stones, minerals, and gemstones have been worn, carried, buried, traded, and placed in sacred spaces as symbols of protection, healing, power, status, luck, and spiritual connection. But where did these meanings come from, and why are certain stones associated with particular purposes?
Explore the history, philosophy, and practice of divination through several traditional systems. Students will gain hands-on experience with tarot, runes, pendulums, scrying, and other intuitive tools while learning how each method works, where it originated, and what makes each unique. The course also examines intuition from both psychological and spiritual perspectives, discussing pattern recognition, symbolism, subconscious processing, and the ethical responsibilities of readers. A thoughtful comparison between intuitive reading techniques and cold reading helps students better understand authenticity, discernment, and responsible practice.
