These food trucks are Muskoka love made mobile
There’s plenty of great places to grab a bite in Muskoka, but make this a summer you’ll never forget by stopping in at one of these rockin’ and rollin’ restaurants.
Cheesus Murphy and the Grateful Bread
Looking sharp, Cheesus Murphy and the Grateful Bread! This Baysville must-visit offers all kinds of (in their words) “badass hippy type of food,” like gorgeous grilled cheese sandwiches and regular street food with a twist. Plus, Lake of Bays Brewery is very nearby, so they recommend grabbing some food and heading up the road for a pint of local brew!
Our Order: Canadian Cheesus – A grilled cheese sandwich featuring bacon, cheddar, potato bread, fresh tomato, peppery arugula, and topped with their creamy garlic dressing
The Taco Stop
Taco bout a party place – Huntsville’s Taco Stop offers up authentic burritos, carne asada fries, and (of course) tacos.
Our Order: Their most popular tacos are Boom Boom Shrimp, Jackfruit (vegetarian) and Beef Tenderloin. Best served with a side of their homemade chips and freshly prepared Pico de Gallo.
Black Sheep Muskoka
Black Sheep Muskoka is far from an outcast on Muskoka’s culinary scene. This hip food truck has one of the best locations too, right at Sawdust City Brewing Co. The perfect combo of food truck + craft beer. Get your food and dine in the Sawdust City Saloon, or on their new (and beautiful) outdoor patio!
Our Order: Classic St Jerome Poutine topped with pulled pork carnitas; 1/2lb fries, authentic Quebec cheese curds with Black Sheep gravy, topped with pulled pork carnitas and garlic crema
Now serving up in Port Sandfield, the Grand Electric food truck proves yet again that Mexican flavours mix well with Muskoka tastebuds!
Our Order: Baja Fish, Crispy Shrimp, or Carne Asada Tacos
