From a fashion show, to comedy tours, to famous tribute bands, to talented musicians – October is full of great entertainment in Muskoka!

Great Lake Swimmers

The JUNO nominated, Polaris Prize shortlisted Toronto group, fronted by lead singer-songwriter Tony Dekkerare will be at Peter’s Players! Tony decided to challenge himself by writing new music without any acoustic guitar which has always been his instrumental mainstay. He further digressed from previous songwriting patterns by looking at each track individually and then tailoring the instrumentation to bring each song to life in its own distinctive way.

Blue Rodeo

For close to thirty years now, Blue Rodeo has taken the road less travelled – and succeeded far beyond anyone’s expectations. The band emerged in the early 80’s as a countrified rock band in the era of hair metal and glossy pop. Despite sticking out like a sore thumb (or maybe because of it), their single “Try” became omnipresent on radio across Canada and set in motion a three-decade long career of headlining every club, theatre and arena in Canada.

Cabaret Funraiser

Or Anita in ‘West Side Story’? How about J.P. Baldwin as ‘The Little Mermaid’? These are only a few examples of the roles that got away from these two zany performers. Debbie and J.P. have over 50+ years experience in Canadian Theatre and have some amazing tales to share with a backstage look at what performers really do!
