Celebrity Chef Roger Mooking Host of ‘Man Fire Food’ is Coming to Muskoka

The man, the chef, the musician, the television host, the legend will be at Deerhurst Resort October 26 – 28, 2018

Canadian chef and host of Food Network Canada’s Man Fire Food is coming to Deerhurst Resort for a foodie-packed culinary weekend.

Having just launched his 7th season of Man Fire Food, it is safe to say that Mooking is ‘hot’ on the culinary scene. This man truly does it all from having released his own cookbook, to hosting several Food Network shows including being a judge on Chopped Canada. His R&B / Soul band Bass is Base also won a Juno Award in 2018. Talk about a well-rounded individual.

Get up close and personal with the Trinidadian born, Canadian raised chef at Deerhurst Resort’s culinary weekend. The highlight of the weekend will definitely be the Saturday night family style dinner complete with demos from the chef. Mooking has created a menu for evening that reflects his signature style of comfort food with an international twist.

One of Canada’s brightest chefs, Roger will be working closely with Deerhurst Resort’s long time executive chef Rory Golden. Rory is no stranger to celebrity, having served the leaders of the free world at the 2010 G8 summit. Chef Rory is well-respected across the area, leading Muskoka’s locally sourced food initiative and sourcing many of his ingredients on the resort. Working with Roger, Chef Rory and the resort’s talented culinary team will WOW your inner foodie all weekend long.
