The Bracebridge Resource Management Centre offers groomed cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and mountain biking trails within a woodland setting along the Muskoka River. Hikers can enjoy up to 19km of trails during the spring, fall and summer.
The area features attractive wooded areas, a vairety of flora, fauna and bird life as well as scenic vistas along the Muskoka River.

Hike the nearby trail, with trail head access at the end of Sander Dr. Wilson Falls is the wildest and most scenic falls on the North Branch of Muskoka River. Located just to the north of the Downtown area off of River Road, Wilson’s Falls has a great walking trail which provides a spectacular view of the falls. A picnic area is also available.
Known as “The Best Golf Value in Muskoka”, this is a classic course with a hall of fame design (Robbie Robinson) and a down-to-earth fee structure that will leave extra money in your budget for other great Muskoka attractions. Unveiled to the public near in January 2016, the Memorial Park Winter Village in downtown Bracebridge has had tremendous reviews. Featuring an ice skating rink that wraps around the park and carves in and out of Bracebridge landmarks, the Winter Village brings its own exciting take on a skating trail. As a child, Wendy Moses could be found in the boathouse Saturday mornings on Lake Rosseau, enjoying art classes with her grandmother, Alexandra Luke – a member of the Painters Eleven. Her love of art led her to picturesque Partridge Lane, located a few kilometers outside of Bracebridge, where, in 1998, she opened the Alexandra Luke Gallery, named in honour of her grandmother. Wendy paints with watercolour, acrylic and oil. Her subjects are mostly flowers and scenes of nature that shy away from realism into abstraction. She is also a photographer with a keen eye and good sense of composition. Gallery open by appointment or chance.
This 55km track starts and ends in Bracebridge. When you are on Milford Bay Rd, instead of turning left onto Butter & Egg Rd, go straight for 500m until you reach the Huckleberry Rock Lookout Trail. This is well worth the climb (will probably have to walk your bike, it is a little steep) to see the spectacular view of Lake Muskoka. Also, you can take the trail to look at The Huckleberry Rock Cut, one of the most famous in Canada.

An exhibition by the art students of Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School and Saint Dominic Catholic Secondary School. Sometimes it is easy to forget what it was like to be a teenager. This exhibition not only showcases the local emerging talent, but also allows viewers much insight into the thinking, attitude and struggles of today’s young citizens.

The Spring Members’ Show displays the strength, vitality, creativity, and wealth of talent found within Muskoka Arts & Crafts. The diverse and outstanding work by our members creates an exciting three day exhibition. Over one hundred members have their work in the show.
The Spring Members’ Show opens with an awards presentation and reception on Friday beginning at 7pm. With 350 members working at a wide variety of media at all levels of development, Muskoka Arts & Crafts is a dynamic organization. Throughout Saturday, and Sunday, the members are at the show offering demonstrations of their techniques and artistry. In addition to the work on display, these demonstrations are inspiring and educational glimpse into the creative world.
The members are present to welcome you to the show, answer your questions, and help should you decide to purchase one of the pieces of art.

On Saturday, May 30, 2020 the first ever Muskoka Earth Festival will celebrate Muskoka as a beautiful place to live and work. This not-for-profit event is designed to inspire people to value the region’s rich ecology, and to equip them to preserve it for future generations by embracing earth-friendly living.
From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. the fairgrounds will hum with the joyful sounds of people of every age, stage and economic category discovering that they are not alone in their commitment to a healthy planet. The eco-imagination of local artists and craftspeople will be on display. Muskoka-based entrepreneurs with creative products and green technologies will populate a green marketplace designed to help people live more sustainable lifestyles.

It is Canada’s Birthday! Join us in Downtown Bracebridge at 4pm for Live music, kids crafts and activities in Birds Mill Mew and then stick around to enjoy the activities in Bracebridge Bay and the Fireworks courtesy of our Bracebridge Rotary Club. A set of canoe, kayak and stand-up paddle-board (SUP) races with distances of 5, 10, and 20 kilometers. This exciting water-race welcomes all levels of experience and age. Funds raised are donated to groups supporting the Muskoka watershed (i.e. Friends of the Muskoka Watershed and the Muskoka Watershed Council). Event takes place on the Muskoka River.
