Taboo Muskoka is located on beautiful Lake Muskoka, only 90 minutes North of Toronto. Set along the shores of Lake Muskoka, Taboo has always been a place where people come to slow down and reconnect – whether that’s with nature, with one another, or with themselves.  Long before “boutique” was a buzzword, Taboo quietly offers something different: an intimate lakeside escape that balances refined comfort with the raw beauty of Muskoka’s granite shoreline, towering pines, and unforgettable sunsets.

Summer Patio Dining: Savour the flavours of Muskoka at Taboo, where dining is as relaxed and refreshing as the lake itself.  Enjoy beautifully crafted dishes at the Boathouse Restaurant, where seasonal ingredients and stunning water views come together in a warm, welcoming space.  The Boathouse invites both resort guests and Muskoka residents to savour a seasonally inspired meal with local touches or craft cocktails while taking in what many call the best sunset in Muskoka.  The menu is curated in partnership with Chef Mark McEwan, bringing refined flavours and culinary artistry to every dish. For something more casual, head to the Fireside Food Truck and grab your favourite bites steps from the shoreline – perfect for a laid-back lunch or a quick treat between adventures.  Whether you’re dining indoors or lakeside, every meal at Taboo feels deliciously effortless.

Golf: Taboo Muskoka golf course is closed for the 2026 season… but something exciting is coming soon. Stay tuned.
