Discover Arts Muskoka (DAM) Gallery & Gifts is a vibrant new creative hub in the heart of downtown Gravenhurst, founded by local artist and arts advocate Barbara Stofast. Located inside the historic Albion Hotel—a beloved landmark long associated with Muskoka’s artistic spirit—DAM proudly continues the building’s legacy as a gathering place for creativity, culture, and community.
DAM Gallery showcases original works by talented local artists, celebrating the diverse voices and unmistakable character of Muskoka. With a growing roster of 15 artists and a commitment to offering a range of price points, the gallery strives to make fine art accessible to everyone—locals, cottagers, and visitors alike.
Community connection is at the heart of DAM. From their rotating “Bite‑Sized Art” exhibits featuring pieces 4″ x 4″ and smaller, to interactive installations like The Lodge—a collaborative artwork built from visitor‑signed wooden sticks inspired by their industrious beaver mascot, Castor Guy de Bois—they aim to create a space where art is not only viewed, but experienced.
