Huntsville Festival Fun on the Dock this Summer
Huntsville Festival of the Arts is taking the show up the river this summer, with special programming right at the town docks. Entertainment on the water’s edge, this will be some very special programming with a truly Muskoka feel to it.
Movies on the Dock – Head down to the Town Dock on Friday, July 26, for a FREE screening of the movie classic “JAWS” at the Town Docks. The film will be shown under the open skies on a two-sided screen set atop floating docks provided by Pipefusion.
Dancing on the Dock – Bring your dancing shoes to the Town Dock on Thursday, August 8, to groove to the sounds of big band greats. Local musician Neil Barlow fronts a 10-piece band playing golden oldies. Presented by the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Chamber of Commerce as a Flavours of Ontario event.
Keep the good times going (or should we say floating) with the Algonquin Outfitters Paddle On Comedy Festival on Saturday, July 20th. Paddle or motor over to the Huntsville Town Docks where you’ll set out for a night of stand-up comedy in the great outdoors – they’ve even got canoe rentals available if you don’t have your own!
Nuit Blanche North – Sponsored by TD Bank
One of Muskoka’s most popular summer events returns to Huntsville on July 27, 2019.
As the sun goes down, the streets come alive in downtown Huntsville for Nuit Blanche North. This bold, interactive multi-arts street festival lights up the night with engaging art displays and unique entertainers.
Make it a Night Out
Pair your outing with a bite to eat at one of Huntsville’s delectable dining establishments, like Lake of Bays Brewhouse, The Artisan House, Mill On Main, Main St Local, That Little Place by the Lights, and Family Place Restaurant.
