Hike The Lakes – Coming June 2026
Explore the trails across Muskoka Lakes in June 2026, and you have a chance to win 1 of 10 $100 gift certificates to a local Muskoka business of your choice. This self-guided scavenger hunt is happening across EIGHT trails in the region, and you access the scavenger hunt via QR code on your smartphone.
How does it work?
- A series of contest signs is assigned on EIGHT trails across Muskoka Lakes.
- Each sign will feature a QR Code to scan, providing entry to the contest (online form). Hike the Lakes to win!
- One QR Code per trail (scavenger hunt), 10 chances to win 1 of 10 $100 gift certificates to a local Muskoka business of choice.
- Only one entry per participant per trial. More trails visited, more chances to win.
- Contest winners to be drawn at the end of the contest and announced on social media.

Hazelwood Trail: Meander along this 2.5km moderate trail, enveloped by the beauty of Muskoka’s nature, and discover hidden gems tucked away amidst the trees
Skeleton Lake Fish Hatchery Trail: Take an easy 1km stroll through serene woodland, perfect for a leisurely hike or a peaceful nature walk suitable for all ages.
Weir Lake Trail: Immerse yourself in the tranquility of Muskoka’s natural wonders on this 3.6km moderate trail, where the beauty of Weir Lake awaits those who venture forth.
Raymond Trail: Choose your adventure with options of 2km or 4km on this moderate trail, where every step leads to discovery amidst Muskoka’s captivating landscapes.
Downtown Bala and Port Carling:
Port Carling Mural Walk: Embark on an easy 2.5km stroll through the heart of Port Carling, where vibrant murals breathe life into the streets, showcasing the town’s rich history and artistic flair.
