Visit the Muskoka Lakes Museum and discover Cottage Country’s unique history. Beautifully located beside the locks in Port Carling. Encounter ancient artifacts from the region’s First Nations people, relive the pioneer era in our 140+ year-old log cabin, and experience resort and cottage life from the past to the present. Interactive exhibits and museum-wide scavenger hunts for the kids are available anytime you visit. Regular summer events include  Museum After Hours each Wednesday in July & August, Port Carling Walking tours. Hours: Victoria Day Weekend in May through Thanksgiving Weekend in October: 10 am – 5 pm Sunday – Saturday (7 days a week). Admission: Adults $10,  Seniors (60+)/students $6, Families (2 Adults and dependent children) $20 .
