Old Man Luedecke is the stage name of two-time JUNO Award winner and Polaris Prize-nominated singer-songwriter Chris Luedecke. Known for his high-energy banjo tunes, heartfelt ballads, and dry wit, he’s been crafting an authentic folk sound for nearly two decades. Based in rural Nova Scotia, Luedecke has recorded acclaimed albums with producers Steve Dawson and Tim O’Brien in iconic studios from Nashville to Montreal. His songs like “I Quit My Job” and “The Early Days” offer a moving, humorous soundtrack to everyday life. A seasoned performer, he’s toured across the globe and was awarded an honorary doctorate in 2022 for his cultural contributions.

Audiences are invited to arrive early to explore Sandhill Nursery’s annual Fall Festival.
