The Town of Huntsville is coming together with community partners to offer a special two-day celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day. Join them on Sunday, June 21 and Monday, June 22 for a celebration filled with music, learning, storytelling, and connection—highlighting the vibrant cultures, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. 

The two-day format reflects the growing importance of this community event and offers more opportunities for residents and visitors to learn, reflect, and engage. 

Sunday, June 21 – River Mill Park  
10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 

This event will feature activities including cultural programming, performances, vendors, and family-friendly activities. This celebration creates an opportunity for our community to come together in learning, respect, and recognition.

Monday, June 22 – Muskoka Heritage Place 
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Activities and demonstrations include snowshoe making demonstrations, sacred plants, lacrosse and much more!
