During the Easter weekend, you can enjoy many fun activities in Muskoka, such as searching for chocolate Easter eggs, enjoying a delicious brunch, or going for a family hike.

Free Events

The Nutty Chocolatier’s Community Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, April 5th, 2026, at Muskoka Heritage Place in Huntsville is a free 45-minute event that the whole family can participate in. Kids can embark on a chocolate treasure hunt and search for the golden egg. Gates open at 12:00 pm. Visit the Muskoka Heritage Place website to learn more.

Hop on over to the Severn Bridge Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, at 11:00 am for their Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your own basket to collect lots of chocolate treats. Free Event – Donations are always welcome.

The Port Carling Lions Club’s 2026 Annual Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, at Hanna Park in Port Carling. Staggered start by age group at 10:00 am. Coffee is provided for the adults while the kiddos are on the hunt! Admission is free, but they ask you to please visit their website to register in advance.

Baysville Easter Egg Hunt: Bring the whole crew to Baysville for a day full of smiles, laughter, and egg-hunting fun! Saturday, April 4th, 2026, at 12:00 pm at the playground outside the arena, 10 University Street. Bring your own bag and enjoy egg hunt excitement, treats, face painting, prizes and a colouring contest.

Presented by the Bracebridge Agricultural Society. The Easter Egg Scramble at the Bracebridge Fairgrounds is FREE for children Ages 10 and under. Bring your own basket. Don’t be late, as it starts Friday, April 3rd, 2026, at 12 noon SHARP, and it is usually over in minutes. The grounds will open at 11 am. Before the scramble, there will be farm animals available to pet and an activity section hosted by the District of Muskoka. The Easter Bunny will also be in attendance! At Cost Events

Come join the Canadian Raceboat Hall of Fame for easter activities and an egg hunt, and learn about some of Canada’s Iconic Raceboats! Located just west of Bracebridge on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 10 AM – 2 PM. Admission is by donation.

Bring the whole family for the Easter EGGstravaganza and Vendor Market in Dwight at the Lake of Bays Garden Centre! So many fun things are happening on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM for you to check out! There will be a visit from the Easter Bunny, Easter Egg Hunt, face painting, seed planting, children’s games and hot dog lunch. Head to their website to buy your tickets – $12 per child. Learn more

The Bunny Hop: Spring is in the air, and that means it’s time for the Bunny Hop in Huntsville at Sandhill Nursery! April 3rd – 5th, 2026. This egg-citing event is packed with fun activities, laughter, and, of course, plenty of chocolate! Bring the whole family and celebrate the season with them. Check out the hoppin’ activities they have planned: The Great Bunny Trail Hunt, Cotton Tail “Mocktail” & Cup Decorating, Plant a Flower to Take Home, Meet the Easter Bunny & S’mores by the Fire.

Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary in Rosseau is offering Guided Group Tours on Easter Weekend, from April 3rd – 5th, 2026. They invite you to learn more about the wildlife in their care. Each tour is limited to 15 people, and there will be two tours per day, one at 9 am and the other at 11 am. Cost: $25 per visitor (tax included). Muskoka Lakes Farm & Winery: Maple Mayhem: Rain or shine, they’re spending three days celebrating maple harvest with ‘big kid’ Easter fun! Join them in Bala from April 3rd – 5th, 2026. Activities include wagon tours, wine tasting, live music and more! Click here to book!

Get ready for an action-packed, high-energy performance as The SuperDogs take the stage at Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville on Saturday, April 4th, 2026, at 3:00 pm! These talented pups will amaze you with incredible tricks, stunts, and heartwarming moments in a show the whole family will love. Advance tickets are required, $15 for ages 13+, $5 for ages 6-12, free for ages 5 and under. Complimentary admission to all shows for resort guests staying over Easter weekend.

Huntsville Easter Weekend Puppy Yoga: They’ve added two special classes for Easter weekend and they’re going to be extra sweet. Join them in Huntsville for a gentle yoga class surrounded by the calm, curious, and incredibly cuddly Barbet puppies as they explore the room, nap in laps, and bring the kind of joy that only puppies can. Classes are on Friday, April 3 – 11:00 AM and Saturday, April 4 – 11:00 AM. Classes are for ages 10+, with children accompanied by an adult. $45.20 taxes included, per person. Boston Pizza Gravenhurst: 2026 TBD Join them for an exciting Easter Egg Hunt at Muskoka Wharf on April TBD at 12 PM! After the hunt, you can redeem your eggs at Boston Pizza for an Easter gift bag. Please note that this event usually lasts only a few minutes. Additionally, on Sunday, April TBD, from 1 PM to 3 PM, Boston Pizza will hold a Kids Party! This event will be hosted by Scotty Dunlop.
