Oktoberfest in Muskoka is back and better than ever this year! With tasty craft brews, live music and great eats, Muskoka is the place to celebrate all things beer. Drink, dance, eat and sing your heart out from October 20th to the 22nd! 

Oktoberfest Muskoka is a music, culinary and beer festival that take places each October in participating breweries and restaurants across Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Lake of Bays, Muskoka Lakes and Southeast Georgian Bay.

Each night, musicians and entertainers perform in participating restaurants and breweries across Muskoka! Participating restaurants provide traditional Oktoberfest features such as Sausages, Pretzels, Potato Pancakes, Sauerkraut, Spätzle and more – all with a Muskoka spin!

The Breweries

Die Brauereien 

Visit Sawdust Brewing Company in Gravenhurst and try their Sagemehl Stadt, inspired from the traditional marzen lagers of southern Germany, is rich lager perfect for the coming cooler months. They’re also serving up Leberkase on a Bun, Jager Schnitzel and Pretzel Pillows. 

Take a scenic drive to Clear Lake Brewing Company  in Torrance and try their Oktoberfest beer; Kolsch, a light bodied brew with fruity esters. They’re also serving up a 5 course Feast Beer pairing meal for $99 featuring Potato Latkes, Pea Soup, Schnitzel and more. 

In Bracebridge, check out Muskoka Brewery and try their easy drinking German Style Festbier; a well balanced, smooth brew with a clean finish.  

In Lake of Bays you’ll find Lake of Bays Brewing Company, offering up a German Altbier which is crisp, clean-tasting and full-bodied!

Get ready for some eclectic specials and traditional Oktoberfest eats at some  uniquely Muskokan local dining spots. Enjoy soft pretzels with inhouse-made cheddar ale sauce, pretzels and cheese, bratwurst on a bun, rouladen, black forest cake reuben, a schnitzel dinner and so much more to be announced! Wash that down with a 32oz stein of beer to celebrate Oktoberfest the right way.

Across Muskoka take part in signature events.

Friday, October 20th at 6:30pm. 

Bala Legion featuring the live music of Keiner de Heiner -with food specials with Bratwurst sausage and sauerkraut. 

The party continues at Huntsville Bowl with complimentary bowling 6:30pm – 9:30pm. 

Saturday, October 21st 

Lake of Bays Bracebridge Barrelhouse features Brats, Beernuts and Brews 7pm – 11pm. Lake of Bays Brewing is brewing up two Fiest Beers, one dark and one light. Enjoy traditional white sausage and bratwurst with beer nuts.

Bracebridge Hall is hosting Strange Brew Bar Olympics. A family friendly day of fun with Oktoberfest inspired games like Stein Race, Keg Rolling and Cornhole. Beer specials and gourmet sausage and wieners with her signature toppings along with Saucy Muskokan cooking up delicious sauces and snacks. Live music by Matt Berry with special guests!

Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville is hosting a full weekend of fun! Festivities include a lively welcome reception, German-inspired culinary creations, live music, a cooking demo, scenic hike and an evening beer garden. Of course all of these activities are perfectly paired with an Oktoberfest pint. Join us for a weekend of indulgence, entertainment, and relaxation that only Muskoka (& beer) can offer. You can also enjoy Oktoberfest in Muskoka-inspired feature dishes Saturday evening at Compass Grill & Lounge.

Port Carling Legion is hosting live music from Mr. D and the Polka Kings (featuring local Muskokans Mitch Beube and Dan McCoy) – 6:30-830pm. Enjoy Food specials with $5 fee at the door. 

Christie’s Mill Inn & Spa in Port Severn has a tasty menu with pretzels, cabbage rolls, Bratwurst, Goulash and so much more. Pair your meal with tasty German brews.
