‘Mystery’ Performer set to take the stage August 9, 2018

Alan Doyle is coming to Huntsville, one night only!

August 3, 2018 – MUSKOKA ON

If you have been paying attention, you might have noticed a ‘Mystery Performer TBA’ on the Huntsville Festival of the Arts’ summer line-up.

Well, a few weeks back that mystery performer was unveiled as none other than Alan Doyle. Yes, THAT Alan Doyle, the incredibly talented Newfoundlander that has brought the sounds of the Maritimes to every corner of Canada.

The concert will be held at Deerhurst Resort, a new partnership the Huntsville Festival of the Arts has created that is bringing big acts to town. The new partnership brought Randy Bachman to Huntsville in March, and will be welcoming Brett Kissel in October.

Alan Doyle’s distinctive sound is recognizable the second it hits the airwaves, and the east coast folk-rock that he has made famous is a sound that has become ingrained in Canadian culture.

Known as the lead singer for Great Big Sea, Alan launched his solo career in 2012. Much like his time with Great Big Sea, his solo career has taken off to new heights, with new chart-toppers and sold out concerts across North America.

His sound is all his own, and it is a sound that is magic to the ears. If you love his music, he is even better live!

More Great Acts

The remaining acts for Huntsville Festival of the Arts’ summer season can be summed up in two words: uber talented

If you are trying to decide which concerts to purchase tickets for, expect Whitehorse and Goitse to be sleeper picks; maybe a little less known in Muskoka, but well-known on the music scene nationally and internationally.
