Get a head start on your Christmas list and go to the Muskoka Arts and Crafts Christmas Show and Sale (Maybe you’ll find something for yourself, too. Don’t worry, we won’t tell anyone).

Santa is taking a break from his workshop and coming to Muskoka for a visit, so check out the line-up of Christmas Parades happening around the region this month.

Read on to learn more about each of these fun-filled events.

Huntsville’s Girlfriends’ Getaway Weekend

Various Locations in Huntsville | November 8 – 10, 2019

Huntsville’s Girlfriends’ Getaway Weekend returns for its 13th year and this event truly offers something for everyone! Want to unwind with some great entertainment? Looking for a new adventure? Looking to connect with your inner artist? Craving delectable food experiences?  Then grab your best girlfriends and escape the pressures of everyday life because Girlfriends’ Getaway Weekend has it all!

If you’re feeling adventurous, then release your inner Katniss and try out the arrow shooting or the axe throwing.  You can also sign up for two-hours and try out the Bush Poker Axe Throwing Trail. If live entertainment is more your thing, then there’s a treat in store for you. Amazing artists are performing throughout the weekend, including Saturday night’s headliner concert featuring none other than Brett Kissel, winner of multiple CCMA and Juno Awards. Do you and your gal pals have a love for food? Okay, who doesn’t? Turn drab into fab at the Queens of Cuisine event with fun and interactive cooking demos, followed by High Tea, as Whimsical Bakery demonstrates the art of decadent scone making. Get inspired at the Girl Talk event, featuring five different presentations focusing on beauty, health, personal growth, and relationships. Lastly, but certainly not least, what would a weekend be without a little shopping? The streets of historic downtown Huntsville will be transformed into a shopper’s dream – it’s all about exclusive sales and discounts offered with extraordinary service.
