From Academy Award-winning director Steven Soderbergh, THE CHRISTOPHERS is a comedy drama about the relationship between a revered 1960s painter and a sometimes-forger, played by Academy Award-nominee Ian McKellen and Emmy Award-winner Michaela Coel.
Coel plays Lori, a talented painter whose skills are enlisted by the estranged children of famed London artist Julian Sklar (McKellen). With their father in self-imposed seclusion, the Sklar siblings, Barnaby and Sally, hire Lori to act as Julian’s assistant, while secretly stealing and finishing a fabled series of unfinished canvases known as the Christophers in hopes of a sizeable inheritance.
