The ‘Outside Looking In’ exhibit will grace the Eclipse Gallery walls from September 23 – October 3, 2026 with a reception on September 25 from 5-7 pm where guests will have the opportunity to enjoy MJ’s music and meet his longtime partner Karen Robinson.
The late Mendelson Joe embarked on his painting career in 1975 as a captivating alternative to his music endeavours. His artwork serves as a profound exploration of the world, paying homage to the beauty of human existence and the majesty of nature. Joe delved into various themes, so called ‘out-sider art’ including landscapes, poignant portraits and thought-provoking political and social commentary.
