Early visitors, often rode a train down to Muskoka Wharf where they were transported by steamship to their summer homes and holiday resorts. Today, take a step into the past by cruising on one of the historic ships that ply Muskoka’s big three lakes. The RMS Segwun, is the oldest operating steamship in North America.

Muskoka Wharf features a picturesque fall foliage boardwalk that winds along the shoreline, inviting you to explore charming shops, indulge in a delicious meal, or relax at a cozy café or tea house. The wharf is bookended by the historic steamship cruise office on one end and the Muskoka Discovery Centre museum on the other, making it a perfect spot to soak in Muskoka’s rich heritage and scenic beauty.
