The Cove has been successful in the marine and recreational business for over 20 years. The acquisition of Foot’s Bay Marina represents a perfect compliment to The Cove. It will allow us to better satisfy our customers’ requirements for a full service marine and recreational retailer.
The Cove Lake Joseph is nestled on the shores of Lake Joseph. The marina was first opened in 1919 and was the hub of activity for many years. The Segwun had its maiden launch from the Foot’s Bay wharf to this day you can still see it, along with the Wenonah II as they cruise through the chain of lakes that encompass the heart of Muskoka.
One of the many traditions that continues to be enjoyed today is the annual Foot’s Bay Regatta. The cottagers gather for a full schedule of events that include swimming, diving, canoeing, triathlon and of course.
