About

Discover the beauty of the Ragged Falls Oxtongue River trail, a hidden gem located just off Hwy 60 near the Algonquin Park border. Despite its short length of only 1 km, this trail offers a spectacular view of the Ragged Falls, which has been named one of the top 10 waterfalls in Ontario. From the small plunge basin at Gravel Falls that showcases the powerful, erosive force of glacial meltwater, to the nine distinct forest communities within the park, there’s plenty to explore and appreciate. Access to Ragged Falls is a marked gravel road that leads to the parking lot, washrooms, and marked hiking trails. A short trail from the parking lot takes you to a lookout where you can witness the thundering whitewater falls up close. The falls are a sight to behold and offer a mesmerizing display of nature’s power. Please note that availability of facilities and activities may be restricted to specific areas of the park, and may be weather dependent. Come experience the natural beauty and wonder of the Ragged Falls Oxtongue River trail, and create unforgettable memories in this pristine wilderness. Click Here for the Trail map
