Muskoka Veg Fest
We don’t want to sound corny but we’re SUPER excited for the Muskoka Veg Fest. Hosted this year at River Mill Park, this event brings you a plant-based, dairy-free, meatless festival that showcases great food, entertainment, and cruelty-free products from conscious-minded individuals and businesses.
It promises to be cool as a cucumber and family-friendly, so make sure to make your way over!
Heritage Sunday Garden Luncheon Concert
If music is “the food of love,” then it’s time for you to eat your heart out! Sunday, August 11, Muskoka Chautauqua is partnering for the Heritage Sunday Garden Luncheon Concert.
Part of the Christ Church Windermere Summer Music Program, this event features Laurie Hurst, a “Broadway-style” soprano with a huge repertoire, and a delicious Broadway menu of “Lunchtime Specials” from the genius of Cole Porter, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and more. Plus, a light lunch of real munchables will also be served to satisfy alongside the songs.
Gravenhurst Sidewalk Sale
Get ready for two days jam-packed with shopping, fun, and festivities!
The Gravenhurst Sidewalk Sale is this weekend, August 10 – 11, in the community’s historic downtown and promises a wickedly-awesome weekend that celebrates all that’s great about Gravenhurst and offer unbeatable shopping opportunities – all accompanied by live entertainment and family-fun!
Baysville Arts & Crafts Fest
August is a great time for art lovers in Muskoka, and any in the area will want to head to Baysville this Saturday and Sunday, August 10 – 11, for their 33rd Arts & Crafts Festival.
A tradition since 1987, this two-day outdoor event features unique artisans from all over. Admission is by donation, with proceeds going back to the community, which means you get to take in the best of Ontario’s creatives while also giving back – win-win!
Gravenhurst Power Boat Races
Last but not least, get ready to make some waves, because the Gravenhurst Power Boat Races are happening at the Muskoka Wharf on August 10 and 11. Based out of the heart of Gravenhurst, this high-energy event will feature spectator-friendly racing with ample shoreline and dockside viewing.
They even claim that this is the most scenic boat race site in North America, so you know you’ll want to see this for yourself!
