Fresh Fall Fashion Show
Let’s see your best catwalk as you strut into the Gravenhurst Opera House for the 15th annual Fresh Fall Fashion Show, a night filled with local food, fashion, and LOTS of prizes. The cocktail reception starts at 6:00 PM followed by the fashion show at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Muskoka Bay Clothing and Tara’s.
The Great Muskoka Paddling Experience
Canoe, Kayak, or SUP your way down the Muskoka River during the Great Muskoka Paddling Experience. Races are 5, 10, and 20 kilometers in length and the starting line is at Bracebridge Bay, but the exciting finish line is at Annie Williams Memorial Park. Watch the competition face off for many awards, including the fastest male, female, and junior paddler.
Thanksgiving Mini Putt
Face off against friends and family this Thanksgiving at Northern Escapades Mini Putt on the beautiful Muskoka River. They’re celebrating this special occasion with golf for just $5 + HST per person, if you bring in a canned food item for the food bank. Do us a favour while you’re there and head over to the snack shack for a treat (or two) for us.
Bethune Memorial House Thanksgiving
Celebrate Thanksgiving while paying your respects to a Canadian hero, Dr. Norman Bethune, a medical pioneer, advocate for Canada’s universal health care system, and a Chinese cultural icon. Explore the collection of personal belongings, instruments used in surgery, and family heirlooms.
Thanksgiving Open House at Muskoka Lakes Museum
The Muskoka Lakes Museum is having a Thanksgiving Open House! Go there for complimentary pumpkin muffins and hot mulled cider, while enjoying the pioneer demonstrations, such as spinning, apple-pressing, butter-churning, and corn-husk doll making. Admission is free, so bring the whole family for some fun Thanksgiving activities!
