It is a FUN week to be in Muskoka!
Everything Anne of Green Gables
There’s more to celebrate than just that classic red-headed, Canadian heroine on Everything Anne of Green Gables Day!
Hosted by the Bala Museum this Wednesday, July 24, the day will also be a celebration for the museum’s 27th anniversary – and, of course, the anniversary of Lucy Maud Montgomery’s visit to Bala in 1922. There will be all kinds of old-fashion fun to be had, including a costume competition, and refreshments to enjoy.
Movies on the Dock
Head down to Huntsville on Friday, July 26, for a FREE movie screening of the classic “JAWS” at the Town Docks. The film will be shown under the open skies on a two-sided screen set atop floating docks provided by Pipefusion.
Boat & Cottage Show + Ribfest
Admission is free for this fantastic event, which promises great food, live entertainment, and more than 100 boat and cottage exhibitions. You won’t want to miss out on this family-oriented festival weekend!
Baysville Walkabout Festival
Saturday, July 27th, check out Baysville’s 31st Annual Walkabout in their downtown, where tons of vendors will be set up with all kinds of treasures for you to find. There’ll also be food and family-fun activities on offer, all for just a donation at the door!
Nuit Blanche North
Once a year, the streets of Huntsville come alive with an exciting array of free artistic activities, events, and exhibits – all thanks to Nuit Blanche North. But, it’s for one night and one night only!
This year, it’s happening this Saturday, July 27th, from 8pm to 2am. Come to their downtown to explore, discover, and enjoy an evening bursting with Muskoka magic.
