A few fun things to do in Muskoka

For the week of April 22 – 28, 2019

Finally spring is really in the air here in Muskoka and we are loving it! There are lots of ways to get out of the house and enjoy the warmer weather this upcoming weekend. The long awaited Muskoka Maple Festival will be taking place in downtown Huntsville. The Annual Muskoka Builders’ Association Home and Cottage Show will be happening at the Gravenhurst Centennial Centre from Friday to Sunday, and will be full of family-friendly fun. If you’re looking for a laugh, look no further than the Yuk Yuks on Tour at Peter’s Players on Saturday night.

 

Muskoka Builders’ Association Annual Home & Cottage Show

The 28th Annual Muskoka Builders’ Association Home and Cottage Show will be taking place at the Gravenhurst Centennial Centre this weekend, from April 26 – 28, 2019. This family-friendly event is full of builders, suppliers, trade contractors and service professionals and craft show vendors, with many interactive displays for kids. The event will run from 4pm – 8pm on Friday, 10am – 5pm on Saturday and 10am – 4pm on Sunday.

Muskoka Maple Festival

Now that we are approaching the end of the maple harvest, it’s time to celebrate! The Muskoka Maple Festival will be taking place in downtown Huntsville on Saturday, April 27. Expect to taste all of the delicious maple goodies from local farmers and enjoy live music, entertainment, and activities for the kids. Definitely a spring must-do!

Luke McMaster Icons of Soul

Luke McMaster will be performing his Icons of Soul tour at the Gravenhurst Opera House on Saturday, April 27. Luke is most commonly recognized from the musical duo McMaster and James and known for his Motown and soul influence. You will be snapping your fingers and singing along to the catchy tunes all night long.

Yuk Yuks on Tour

The Yuk Yuks are on tour and making a stop at Peter’s Players on Saturday, April 27. Comedians, Rob Pue and Nigel Grinstead, and MC Adam Christie, will have you in stitches all night long. Only the funniest, clean comedians are chosen for the tour, which makes for a highly entertaining and feel-good show!
