Rob Stimpson ‘s beautiful photography of Muskoka’s natural landscape leaves the viewer with a renewed love and appreciation for our natural landscape. Rob Stimpson is an internationally published, award-winning photographer best known for capturing the fury and tenderness of the Canadian outdoors.
Rob is originally from the small town of Hudson, Quebec. Over the last decade, his camera has explored many remote and wilderness areas including Antarctica, the Arctic, Northern Quebec, Northwest Territories as well as Greenland, all in the role of expedition photographer & photographer in residence. In October 2012, he was nominated and elected into the Royal Canadian Geographical Society’s College of Fellows and in 2016 The Globe and Mail and Lexus profiled myself along with 9 other artists. I co-authored “An Artists and Photographers Guide to Wild Ontario”. His work can be seen at Ontario Parks French River Visitor Centre & Arrowhead Visitor Centre and many of his images are prominently displayed in private homes.
