Opened in June 2004, Muskoka Place Gallery showcases fine art by established and emerging artists, and plays host to classes, workshops, lectures, retreats and events throughout the year. There is always something happening at Muskoka Place Gallery. Stop by to view current exhibitions or particpate in a class. Gallery Hours are: Mon to Sat, 10am to 5 pm.
Gayle Dempsey is the artist in residence and Director of the gallery. which also represents renowned Canadian painter Pat Fairhead, who now resides on nearby Brandy Lake and Jen Morgan a local emerging artist who recently received her undergraduate degree in fine art through the University of Guelph. The gallery is open to many proposals from local, national and international artists which make up the majority of selected exhibitions, enabling Muskoka Place Gallery to feature a roster of contemporary and innovative painters of the highest calibre. Muskoka Place Gallery prides itself as a home to a learning communtiy of painters and features various workshops for all ages, including watercolour and acrylic classes with Pat Fairhead and other renowned artists, photography, printmaking, twig furniture, movement and music.
