Speaker Series – Bev Clark at Muskoka Discovery Centre
Bev has worked in aquatic science for 40 years, most of these at the Dorset Environmental Science Centre where the effects of multiple stressors on aquatic ecosystems are student. His presentation will discuss interesting facts about the history of lakes in Muskoka and how they were shaped by glaciation. Regional human history is also discussed in relation to these events. The presentation will include a few props, some slides, and plenty of informal conversation. There will be time to take the program off the rails a bit and answer more specific questions about the Muskoka Lakes.
